Registration at least 24 hours in advance of class is required. Full payment is due at or before start of class. Classes must have a minimum of 3 students with exceptions at the discretion of the teacher. Unless a class does not run, class fees are non-refundable except as credit towards future classes.

The fabulous foundational fundamentals to the world of knitting lie right here, where the introductory tools of knitting and purling are grasped. Learn how to knit, purl, cast on, and bind off as handily useful, handmade dishcloths are created by YOU! Sequentially, confidence, and skills build, and one may venture into learning to increase and decrease stitches while fashioning a lovely baby alpaca scarf.
As a progression of the beginning knitting class, knitting skills are honed and sharpened as a warm, snuggly hat is knitted. The introduction to reading a pattern, knitting in the round, and simple pattern modifications remain the highlights of this excellent class.
If seams are a bother, this is the class for you. Fashion a sweater without them! This tiny version shall be completed in a snap and will equip you with all the invaluable techniques necessary to create one in a larger size of your choice.

“Peggy has had requests for a sampler class and here it is! This is a small HEART in HAND sampler with nine specialty stitches, the design size is 1.5 x 3.5 inches, and is done on 32ct linen. Class kit includes chart, fabric and “”friend”" charm. Class will be limited to eight students and only intermediate level stitchers will be appropriate.”

By now you are most probably finishing up needlework intended as a Christmas gift and need to think about getting it framed, right? Okay then, two days have been set aside just for this purpose at MYSS!
**PRE-REQUISITE** Attendees must have knowledge of framing and have their own supplies. This is NOT a framing instruction class. However, Peggy will be on-hand to assist you as needed. Bring your lunch, and a snack to share with each other during the day.
Working with yarn that’s been spun by hand is an exquisite experience. Every knitter or crocheter knows how a hand-made sweaters differs from a store bought one made by machine. But the difference is twice as telling with garments we’ve made from hand-spun yarn. They have an energetic charge and a liveliness that’s impossible to replicate by machine. Come learn how to make your own yarn!
Learn to needle felt 3 dimensional projects in this introductory class. This is a 3 session course that uses the Cutie Bug Kit and teaches students the basics of needle felting and embellishing with mohair. Kit and foam block is included in class fee.
