Purple Hats Project

Shaken Baby Syndrome is on the rise, but there is something you can do!  Local children’s advocacy workers have requested the donation of knitted and crocheted newborn beanies to help with the Period of PURPLE Crying Project.

It only takes a small amount of yarn and time.  Please help support local hospitals in their efforts to prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome.  Free patterns available online and at the shop.  Currently we’re loving this one put out by Twisted in Portland.  (We’re working on a crochet version and should have it available soon.)

All purple hats can be brought to the Shoppe and we will take care of delivering them to the appropriate places.
