Winter 2012 Happy Winter to All! If you haven’t snuggled up by the fire with a warm drink and your knitting, crochet, or stitching, it is time to do so. All the beautiful new yarns we have in will definitely inspire you to create and dream in color. Our staff is here to help you with your choices and any technical questions you might have. If you haven’t noticed, we have done a complete reorganization of our yarn and needles. The store is now divided into sections by yarn weight. Shaken Baby Syndrome is on the rise, but there is something you can do! Local children’s advocacy workers have requested the donation of knitted and crocheted newborn beanies to help with the Period of PURPLE Crying Project. It only takes a small amount of yarn and time. Please help support local hospitals in their efforts to prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome. Free patterns available online and at the shop. Currently we’re loving this one put out by Twisted in Portland.
