Winter 2012 Class Schedule
Class Policies All students receive 20% off class supplies! Click on any image to see it full-size. Registration at least 24 hours in advance of class is required. Full payment is due at or before start of class. Classes must have a minimum of 3 students with exceptions at the discretion of the teacher. Unless a class does not run, class fees are non-refundable except as credit towards future classes. Due to technical difficulties, online registration is not currently up and running. Got some extra time and yarn on your hands? How about making a hat to warm little heads? Regular Yarn Shoppe customer, Carolyn Leger, has put out the call for hats for kids at Washington Elementary School. Her sister works as a crossing guard and has noticed that there are many chilly heads. Any hats can be brought to the shop and Carolyn will deliver them. Help keep our kids healthy and warm. P.S. Please use washable yarns to make it easy on the parents.

Shaken Baby Syndrome is on the rise, but there is something you can do! Local children’s advocacy workers have requested the donation of knitted and crocheted newborn beanies to help with the Period of PURPLE Crying Project. It only takes a small amount of yarn and time. Please help support local hospitals in their efforts to prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome. Free patterns available online and at the shop. Currently we’re loving this one put out by Twisted in Portland.
