February Designer of the Month

Diane Williams, Designer of LITTLE HOUSE NEEDLEWORKS is our featured designer for February. If you aren’t familiar with Diane’s artistic talents (or even if you are) please take a few minutes to stop and view some of her designs!! A little MYSS tidbit:
Diane went “public” on her own in 2003. I became acquainted with Diane via emails after stitching one of her early charts “Home of a Cross Stitcher”. MYSS was offered her very FIRST trunk show!! Because of a date conflict we had to unfortunately decline, but we were her SECOND trunk show nevertheless! Fond memories…

Q-Snap update

Re my last post: I tried the Q-Snap tip and although it didn’t tighten up the caps as much as I would have liked, it did help, so you might give it a try. Happy Stitchin’ Peggy

Stitchers! Q-SNAP tip!

Over time and with a lot of stitching, my Q-Snap “caps” have gotten loose. I JUST read a tip on how to re-tighten the caps. Place the caps on the frame and put the whole thing into hot (not boiling) water for a couple of minutes. Remove the Q-Snap from the water and allow it to cool and dry. Supposedly it will “shrink” the caps back into their original shape. I’m going to try it right now and will let you know if it works!!

BOTM for 2011 starts on JANUARY 19th!!! Come join us from 5:30-7:00 and meet the “BOTM gang”.

This year we are offering some different. You may choose to do the Little House Needlework ornament of the month project OR bring that XS project you’ve started or been wanting to start for ages and we’ll divide it into twelve (12) monthly segments for your BOTM project. That HUGE project you’ve been hesitating to tackle will be easily accomplished over the year. Call or come in to sign up for the BOTM Club as soon as possible ~ no cost to you except your own supplies! Peggy

FREEBIE Workshop @ MYSS!!

For all you stitchers wanting to FRAME stitchery, especially gifts for Christmas, mark your calendars for the FREE framing workshop ~ all day both Saturday (Dec. 4th) and Sunday (Dec. 5th). Get your projects finished, gather up your framing supplies, and COME ON DOWN and join the fun!
I’ll be there to assist anyone, but this is not a framing CLASS ~ must have knowledge of framing or have taken a framing class.
Please call the shop and pre-register so we have an idea of attendance.
