It is an 80/20 cotton and Merino wool blend. At 222 yards per 50 gram skein, this yarn gives you a lot of bang for your buck! Check out the shop sample crocheted in it.

Our quarterly PJ party is nearly upon us! Join us Saturday, July 10th, for fun, food, and stitching from 5:30pm – midnight. Cost is a mere $20 per person and includes dinner and dessert. It’s hot outside, but it’s cool in the yarn shop. Won’t you join us?
Have you ever wanted to take the next step with your knitting or crocheting and spin your own yarn? Can’t find that perfect color or art yarn? Come learn the basics on how to use a drop spindle with instructor Cindie Kitchin.
You will learn how to spin yarn using an inexpensive top whorl CD drop spindle. Spindle and fiber are included in the cost of the class along with a complete handout. If you already own a drop spindle and don’t know how to use it, please bring it for help toward the end of class. If you don’t own a drop spindle yet, please wait to buy one until after the class where you will learn about the different styles. Hurry! Space is limited!

We have the first of a new line of yarn in the shop, Punta Yarns Merisock Hand Paint.
Merisock Hand Paint is a beautiful superwash merino blended with just a hint of nylon. At 463 yards per 100g, one skein is plenty for a pair of socks or small shawl. Look for more Punta Yarns coming this fall.
